Our vision for The Meeting Place

A rare opportunity

Beechen Cliff Methodist Church has served the local community for generations and is recognised as an Asset of Community Value.

Located within walking distance of Bath city centre and easily accessible by public transport, it already serves the wider community through a range of established organisations. The building includes a beautiful worship space for around 250 people, a large community hall, kitchen, meeting rooms and office accommodation.

Our vision is to preserve and expand that role while creating the first permanent home for Orthodox Christianity in Bath.

Our vision

More than a church, purchasing Beechen Cliff Methodist Church is not the end of our project. It’s the beginning.

Our vision is to create a place where faith, friendship and community flourish together. The Meeting Place will be a place where people encounter beauty through worship, hospitality through shared meals, creativity through the arts, learning through lectures and exhibitions, and friendship through community life.

Everyone will be welcome.
